Some jobs you only get to see if you do them.
Every run of this show spends a working day inside one trade — the order a job is really done in, what it costs, and what the person doing it sees that nobody else does. Nobody is interviewing them. They are talking to you while they work.
He is not explaining the job to you. He is doing it, and saying what he notices while he does — the thing he checks first, the part everyone outside the trade gets wrong, and the moment he knows how the day is going to go.
An episode is one job, start to finish. A run is one trade. Then the truck belongs to somebody else.
